Ages 8-12
This 4 week course is designed to introduce kids (ages 8-12) to a new language and make that experience positive. Students will learn to speak through participation in realistic tasks and game situations where they will use language skills as one would in real life. The four language skills- reading, writing, listening and speaking are integrated with an emphasis on speaking and listening. The program is designed to encourage positive learning experiences to develop enthusiasm for further development of their language skills.
Teens
Ages 13-17
Like the Kids 4 week course this course is designed to introduce teens (ages 13 - 17) to a new language and make that experience positive. Teens will participate in conversations, games and in realistic tasks where they will speak as they would in real life situations. The four language skills- reading, writing, listening and speaking are integrated with an emphasis on speaking and listening. The program is designed to encourage positive learning experiences to develop enthusiasm for further development of their language skills.
ESL for
Job Seekers
One on one, private, consultation on preparing your resume or cover letter or preparing for an interview. You can choose how these 8 hours will be used.
ESL for Food Service Workers
ESL for Hospitality Workers
Employers will be interested in the English training for Hospitality and Food Service workers. These are two separate courses that emphasize speaking and reading the essential vocabulary for the industry and practice in job specific conversations. Throughout the course, students learn the expectations of working in the service industry.
